SWEPT OUT TO SEA
Boy Drowned At Lyttelton Press Association—Conyrignt. Christchurch, May 9. Ronald Alexander, aged 14, whose parents live at Montreal S reet, Christchurch, was swept ofl a rock In Lvttelon harbour this afternoon and drowned. With a companion he wtis gathering metal at the base of the municipal rubbish tip when a wave caught them!. His companion escaped. The boy’s body has not- yet been recovered.
