Final Christchurch Woo! Sale Press Association—Copyright. Christchurch. April 16. The fourth and final wool sale of the Christchurch season was held today, when 10,728 bales were offered. The sale was the best of the season for this centra and was marked by keen and sustained competition from al! quarters. Haifbreds rose up Io Id per lb ou the sale of last month and crossbreds by up to 2d. Practically everything offered was cleared, though the offering as a whole was not attractive. The wool fof’ward was the ordinary end-of-season selection and included large weights of merino from high country and crossbred from Banks Peninsula and the West Coast, besides a large selection of binned wools and oddments of all sorts. The quality was very mixed.
