First of Drama League Series. The first of the sprles. of play reading evenings in com. eciion with the local branch of th 2 British Drama League was held fn the Parish Hall last evening, when three’ to:p«-act plays were produced by Miss Evelyn Moon, and Messrs W. J. Hall (pre. sident), ?and H. Goodman. Those enjoying ithe different performances, which were interesting and enjoyable, included: —Dr. and Mrs Steven, Mr ind Mrs W. J. Smith (Inglewood), Mr and Mrs Newell, Mr and Mrs W. J. Hall, Mr and Mrs Amess, Di. Marion Steven, Mr and Mrs V. B’ookeE, Mr and Mrs R. H. White, Mr and Mrs D. While, Mr <and Mrs Sutherland (Inglewood), Mr and Mrs Fabish, Mesdames W. H. Stokes, F. Tyrer, F. Uniacke, A. Boon, L. C. folly, R. Tyrer, H. Good, E. H. Voting, Sole, Davit; N. S. Dear®, Bon,-nor, Walker and Thomas; the Misses E. and E. Caitjwright, |E. j Moon, Cow. lan, Deare, B. White, P. j Lyons, Power,. Edith Pearce, H. | Boyle and Black; Messrs K. Moss, •' H. Goodman and Sherston. During , the intervals, Miss E. Moon played some pianoforte solos, with her usual , artistic perception, and rthe Misses I Cartwright sang charmingly together.
