The Burea't of Air Commerce announces that the trans-Atlantic airline dead lock between Great Britain and the Uni led States over the American terminal for the service has been settled, thus removing the la£t diplomatic obstacle. The terms of the agreemnt have been 'Withheld temporarily. Mail contracts bids will now be considered and test flights "made.
The negotiations.' between Britain and the United States for reciprocal aviation services in connection with the proposed trans-Atlantic operations’ by the Pan-American Company and Imperial Airways reached a deadlock on March 10. The cause was a dispute between Canadian and United States officials as to whether Montreal or New York islhouid be the terminal.
