QUALITY PRAISED. MARKET IN HOMELAND. < London Representative Gathering. Press Association —Copyright. Received 1.5 p.m. London, April 5. Mr. W. Nash and Mr. W. J. Jordan, the High Commissioner, were present at a luncheon arranged in order that Mr. Turner, the London manager of the New Zealand Fruit Control Board, might be enabled to meet representatives of firms handling New Zealand fruit in the United Kingdom. Merchants praised the quality of the apples and the excellent packing and grading, which, they declared, were unequalled in any part of the Empire, except British Columbia.
