SUMMER IN TURKEY.

Duke of Windsor’s Rumoured Holiday. London, March 31. To add to the speculation about the Duke of Windsor's domiciliary intentions —whether he will reside in America, settle in France, or continue to live in Austria —here is another story, revealed by the Sunday Chronicle. The Duke is to spend the summer on Prinkipo, a beautiful little island 10 miles south of Stamboul, in the Sea of Marmora. Prinkipo is the only habitable island in a group of eight or nine islands, and is ideal for a yachting and cruising holiday.

In the meantme, the Evening News prints the following story, showing that while the Duke is negotiating for a big financial settlement with the the Royal Family and the British Government, he is not overlooking the shillings. The Duke ot Windsor had a “lucky day” at the casino at Baden, near Vienna. After watching the roulette players for a while, he placed two schillings—the lowest stake—on red and won. He left the stake and red came up again. The Duke then changed to black and staked another two schillings on it and won again. He left his winnings on black and once again his luck held. With a smile the Duke then left the tables with his -winnings—12 schillings (nearly 9/-).
