If negotiations are successful the company will open in Melbourne or . Sydney towards the eud of June. The presentation of a giod English company in a Shakespeaiean repertoire has been favoured by the firm tor some time, and when Mr Frank S, Tait, a director, reached London recently negotiations wer3 entered into with a number of .players. Mr John H. Tait, another director, said to-day that he expected a decision in a few days. The firm would not undertake the venture unless it could obtain a first-rate company.
