San Francisco, March 29. The Oceanic Oriental line if discontinuing its Australian service pending a mail contract adjustment. Its last, thip will l ave Los Angeles on April 1. The suspension will be temporary and is due to uncertainty as to the action the lew Maritiiae Board will take regarding the co npany letting ships for a two months’ charter, for which there is a demand. It is also interpreted aft a move tc secure western representation on the board.
