SPEEDWAY RIDER HURT
London, March 30. Steve Langton, of Brisbane, competing for the first time in England at the Hackney Wick speedway, struck on the back wheel of an opponent’s machine when travelling at forty miles an hour, swung across th© track and smashed through a safety fence. He was knocked unconscious and suffered leg injuries.
