Successes of Stratford Contestants. At the competition festival at New Plymouth ye ;terd xy, Stratford contestants gain d the following awards: Miss Ina Brett v'as first in the p'ainio solo class, 16 years and under 18. In the vocal section, Mrs E. Mcßeth was third wilh 81 points among eight entries, and was second in the ladies’ solo, light opera or musical comedy, three entries. In fancy dancing, M. Rogers (7 and ufnder 10 years’ class) Was first among eleven entries. Miss D. Winmill was third among ten entries in character dance (12 years and over class), and with Miss S.
