“SACRED” BONE TO BE REPLACED. Lady Seton’s Misfortunes. Press Association —Copyright. Received 2.30 p.m. London, March 29. The Times says: “Lady Seton, the wife of Sir Alexander Seton, of Edinburgh, is going to Egypt shortly to replace a ‘sacred’ bone, which is believed to carry Pharaoh’s curse, in the tomb from which it was removed. “The Setons visited the tomb, after which their glassware was inexplicably smashed, and visitors and servants complained of seeing a mysterious robed sceptre wandering through the corridors at night time. “Lady Seton has received eighty offers for the .bone, but she refused to sell, because she was determined nobody else would Inherit similar misfortunes.”
