Wife of Retired Major Shot. Press Association —Copyright. London, M:ireh 28. May* Godby, aged 36, wife of a retired officer. Major Robert Godby, was shot dead, after a wedding reception at which Tfhey were guests, at an hotel at Hifrh Wycombe to-day. She collapsed at the feet of her husband, with whom she was tented at a table playing dominoes. A fellow guest, Albert Boddy, aged 31, a bricklayer, was charged with the murder.
