ADDIS ABABA MASSACRE
EXPULSION OF CULPRITS. SIGNOR GRAZIANI ACTS Story of Indiscriminate Firing Press Association—Copyright. (Received 11-55 a m.) London, March 29. The Times says: “Owing to participation in the massacre at Addis Ababa on February Signor Graziani has expelled from Abyssinia over 200 Italians of various ranks of th e army and labour corps. It was not until 48 hours after t}he reprisals- that Signor Graziani heard of the massacre, as he had been in the hands of doctors. He is still in hospital, having suffered a severed artery behind a knee.’* Further derails of the reprisals show that the Italians’ indiscriminate firing killed some of their own counjtrymen. The Times adds: “As a result of recent events, Abyssinia’s foreign trade has almost ceased, and British, Indian and Belgian firms have been closed. The Italians are aiming t'o eliminate non-Italian houses.”
