TO-DAY’S RECIPE.

Pirates Delight. One cup water, 1 cup sugar, juice of large orange, juice of half lemon, 1 heaped dessertspoon of flour and 1 heaped dessertspoon of powdered gelatine mixed together with a little water. Method: Put all ingredients together in saucepan and boil for five minutes. Let cool a little and beat for 20 minutes with a rotary eggbeater. When fairly stiff and quite white, add pulp of as many 'passion fruit as you like, and put away to set in glass dish. Strawberries or bananas are also nice in it.
