Eason, of Romeo Street, accompanied by their daughter, left for Wellington on Friday. * * * Mr A. W. Budge is spending Easter with her son and daughter-in flaw. Mr and Mrs Alan Budge, of Taumarunui. * * * Mr and Mrs R. Fryday, of Portia Street, left on Friday for Feilding to attend the Easter Races. * * * Miss 'Marjory Curd, of Regan Street, is spending the holidays in Wanganui with friends. * * * Mr and Mrs. R. Stokes, of Brecon Road, left for Auckland on Friday to visit friends during Easter.
Mr and Mrs Simons have left for a brief holiday in Masterton. . * * * Mr and Mrs J. C. Allan, of Broadway North, are visiting Masterton for the week-end. * * * Mr and Mrs Baden Bellringer, of Orlando Street, are spending the weekend with relations in New Plymouth. * * * Miss Jean Bremner, of Hamlet Street, is in Hamilton with her sister during the Easter vacation. * * * Mr and Mrs E. H. Young, of Brecon Road, left on Wednesday for Taumarnnui and North Auckland. * * * Miss Joyce Hall left for Wellington on Friday, and Miss Betty Hale for i Napier. * * * Mr and Mrs Furrie and Miss R. Furrie, of Ariel Street, have left for the North for a few days’ holidays. -* * * Mr and Mrs S. Pitt left by car on Friday to spend the holidays in Marton and Wanganui. * * * Mr and Mrs Heuston, of Auckland, are at present spending a few days with Mrs Heuston’s mother, Mrs Harris.
Mr and Mrs G. Hall motored to I Wanganui to spend some of the Easter holidays with their son. * * * Mrs and Miss Jardine visited Wanganui during the holidays to see their son, who is at the Collegiate School. * * * Mr and Mrs L. A. J. Coldwell, of Seaton Street, have gone to Palmerston North and Hastings, where the holidays will be spent. They are accompanied by Miss N. MelvHle. * * * Mrs. K. Neal was “at home” on home” on Wednesday afternoon. Those present were: Mesdames R. Curtis, L. Furrie, N. H. Thorpe, J. Anderson, W. J. Spence, and P. D. Jefferies. * * * Mrs N. H. Moss entertained some friends at afternoon tea on Tuesday at her residence in Regan- Street. She was wearing a very becoming rustcoloured satin crepe, and her drawingroom* had gay bowls of sweet peas becomingly displayed. Amongst those present were: Mesdames C. Simons. J. Robson, S. 'McGregor, F. Bodie, W. Shaw, Baden Bellringer, R. Carryer, and N. Strachan. * -Jf * Miss W. L. Whittingr-un, who has held the position, of dental nurse at the Inglewood Dental Clinic for the past five years, • has resigned. She wajs given a farewell at the public school on Friday, when she was the recipient of several presentations from the children, teaching staff, dental clinic committee and parents.
