Australian Cup Victor.
Mutable, the surprise 'Winner of the Australian Cup, can claim some strong New Zealand blood, as hit dam, Varium, is by Boniform from the imported mare, Eady Wayward 11., a. half-sister to Vain Air, dam of Weathervane. Varium successfully carried the colours a tew years ago of Mr S. A. Rawdon, who bred Mutable. Mutable is by Drake, probably one of the fastest horses in his day in England.
