Daughter of Piuthair.

Piuthair was a gallant mare on the race track, but she has yet to earn fame at the stud. Hunting Tartan, a son by Hunting Song, raced last season and has been out again this season without g’impse of form. Now Gaelic Song, a daughter by the same sire, has commenced racing also, and as she finished fifth in her first start at Napier Park there- maiy be more promise about her. Gaelic Song is a three-year-old black filly, and she carries the colours of her breeder, Mr J. Macdonald, of Napier, who now has Piuthair at the stud.
