Grave anxiety is felt here for the safety of the Darwin pearling fleet, comprising about fifty vessels, and the mission lugger, St. Nicholas, because of a fierce cyclone which is raging at present off the Arnheim Land coast. None of .the luggers' is equipped With wireless, and it is not known . hether they have been abl" to reach safety.
