Bradman Receives Royal Congratulation.
Press Association —Copyright. Melbourne, March 4. Bradman has received a special message of congratulation from the King on the winning of the trit and the ashen. His Majesty pays tribute to Bradman’s "predominant skill as a batsman ’’ The Board of Control has acknowledged the messages Dr. Morton, a member of the Australian Board of Control, replying to the English comment’ with regard to the Englishmen’s heavy programme in Australia, said the so-oalled picnic matches in Australia were really pleasant interlude. The programme in Australia was not as arduous as that for the Australians in England, where they had to play practically two matches a week inst- ad of one as in Australia.
