London Meat Shipments.

The following cable dated London March 3rd has been received by the Bank of Australasia: —“Frozen lamb: Heavier New Zealand arrivals during the middle of the months relieved temporary shortage and values receded, the decline continued gradually, and more economical prices have Improved the demand. New Zealand lambs now being cheaper. Australian lambs are in less demand. Frozen mutton: Wethers; the demand and prices steady until recently when values eased slightly. Ewes continue to be in fair demand—latest prices show hardening tendency. Frozen beef: Supplies l limited, market firm.
