KEEN COMPETITION.

Local Vegetable Growers At Eltham Show. There was a keen competition between two well-known Stratford gardeners in the vegetable section at the Eltham Horticultural Show on Wednesday. Mr. Maurice Jury won the points prize by three points over Stratford Hospital gardner, Mr Morgan’s Priest’s total for the points prize. The Winner .gained 12 first awards, 10 seconds and 2 thirds, compared to his rival’s 11 firsts, b seconds and 6 thirds. The detailed results were as follows: Runner beans: Mte C. S. Rush 1. M.
