Wanganui Men Sentenced To Prison. Wanganui. Last Nightl. Mr Justice Smith in the Supreme Court to-day fined Paul Nodwell, a single man aged 57, £5T' and ordered that such sum be paid w’thiii two days or that he be detained in prison for a period not exceeding tv'o years. 'Nodwell had been found guilty of arson. His Honour said the prisoner was guilty of a cold, calculated, selfish crime. He hoped to gain a new house and had endangered the lives of his neighbours.
