To-day’s Forecast. SQUALLY AND CHANGEABLE. Press Association—Copyright. Wellington, To-day. The pressure distribution is still of a pronounced westerly type. An anticyclone of slight intensity covers the northern and north-eastern portions of the Tasman Sea, while a series of westerly depressions is passing in the south. The forecast is for moderate to strong westerly winds, reaching gale force at times in exposed positions, backing later to south-west; weather squally and changeable, with intermittent rain in most places; seas rough.
