A FRENCH VIEW

NOT INSPIRED.

Hitler Does Not Value Treaty Signatures. Press Association—Copyright. Received 11 a.m. Paris, January 31. M. Delbos, Foreign Minister, in a speech at Chateauroux, in reply to Herr Hitler, said that France objected to the exclusion of Russia from Hitler’s peace offer. He believed Germany’s desire for peace was sincere as far as France was concerned, but “we are not the only people in the world Herr Hitler has not inspired with confidence in the value of signatures to treaties.”

France offered continued support to the doctrine of collective security. She gave her solidarity to Poland and the Little Entente, and her accord to Russia.
