Over £lO,OOO Received By Borough Council
A busy time was experienced by the Stratford borough office staff last week in receiving rates payments, although there had been a more regular flow of money than was the case last year. On Wednesday night the total was £3OOO more than at the same date last year. To date over '£lo,ooo has been received, compared with £9,035 on January 31, 1936.
