Mr. Runciman Will Be Guest Of Mr. Roosevelt. Press Association—Copyright. New York, January 16. The Washington correspondent of the Times says that important economic discussions are expected to occur next week-end, on January 23, when Mr Walter Runciman, President of the Board of Trade, England, will be at White House as a guest. President Roosevelt, at a Press conference to-day, however, indignantly denied London reports appearing in the Hearst Press that he had invited Britain and France to begin preliminary for the adoption of a peace programme based on financial trade factors.
