85 Deaths On Burning Chinese Express.

Believed to be due to the ignition of some celluloid article, a fire broke out on the Kowloon-Canton Express. The train had no communication cord and sped on while three carriages were burned.
Eighty-five bodies were brought to Canton, including 35 women and children . It is feared that the deathroll will exceed one hundred.
Three bodies were found hanging from windows, indicating that death occurred while they were trying to climb out.
