HOSPITAL RADIO.

Completion of Fund in Sight.

Although an amount of nearly £6O has still to be collected, the Stratford Radio Committee la confident that it will be able to have the fund completed and the installation handed over to the Hospital Board In time for the opening by the Prime Minister, Hon. M. J. Savage.

During the pre-Christmas street day appeal, in order not to interfere with the business people at their busy time, no canvass was made in the shops. The committee's hopes that the shop-owners would reciprocate are proving justified, and donations, in addition to those made through the lists, a fair number of which have still to be collected, are being received each day. To-day, a donation is acknowledged of £1 from Robert Hill and Family, Broadway. Stratford.
