STRATFORD POST OFFICE.
Arrangements for Christmas and New Year. Following are Christmas and New Year arrangements at. the- Stratford Post Office: Thursday, 24th December, 1936, and Thursday, 31st December, 1936; There will be a delivery over the counter between th hours of 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. of correspondence (registered as well as ordinary) usually delivered by postmen. Christmas Day: The Post Office will be closed in all branches. The telephone exchange will be open continuously. Btxing Day and Now Year’s Day: The street, letter receiving boxes will be cleared at 7 a.m. Mails close at 8 a.m., ami will be despatched to principal post offices served by rail. No mails will be despatched to post offices on the Stratford-Main Trunk a'outcy. Correspondciime wil,! not be sorted into private boxes. The post office will bo closed in all branches. The telegraph office will be open from 9 a.m. .to 10 a.m., and from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The telephone exchange will be open continuously.
