Miss Doris Gilmour, Taranaki’s talented singer, will be heard In solos at the combined recital at Stratford to-morrow to be given by the pupils of Mrs Angus Wright and the Margaret Lawrence School of Dancing. Miss Phyllis Spencer will give elocutionary items .and the Howard Quartet will be heard. A splendidly varied programme includes “To a Miniature,’’ with its huge "Dresden lady,” eight feet in height. Special scenic and lightning effects have been arranged. The children's choir, the first to be heard in Stratford, is sure to please.
