Lady Astor Criticises Canadian Baby Race. Press Association —Copyright. Toronto, Nov. 29. Lady Astor, the British M.P., has characterised the “stork derby’’ as terrible. “What is wanted is quality, not quantity, children,” she said. “If I wanted the latter I would go to China to find them, not, I think, to Canada.”
