Cones for comfort

Members of the Taupo Itol&ract Club spent two hours in the rain on Sunday afternoon collecting pine cones for pensioners. Because of several other club projects in the pipeline for the next few weeks it was decided to press on with the work regard less of the weather. More than 50 sacks were filled with cones. The cones are now drying and the club hopes to have them delivered to the pensioners later this week.
