Debating teams sought
- The Taupo Debating Union, an ad hoc body set up to organise a team for the Norwood Trophy, is to send a team to Rotorua for the contest in September. At the momerit clubs which may wish to sponsor a team, or teams, are being asked to let the local organiser, Mr Michael 'Drake, know if they intend to take.part in an elimination contest. The National Council of Debating Associations has been informed of Taupo's intended participation. With the local interest in debating being so high at the moment, competition for the Norwood team should be strong.
