Heappey told the Turangi Liaison Committee -recently there were a ' ; number of part-time, backyard industries in the town competing with full-time businessmen. Mr Watters has started an investigation and the matter is to be deferred until reports are received from him and from the town planning officer, Mr P. Crawford. * ifc H* sfc va ■•- v fcva* A grant of $400 is to be made to the festival sub- 5 committee of the Turangi Promotion Council. j The committee is organising week-long celebrations in October to mark the 10th anniversary of the founding of the new Turangi township.
