The district planner for the Ministry of Works and Development, Mr W. L. - Beaumont, of Hamilton, is to be invited to the Taupo a County Council's next s ' meeting. ~ Mr Beaumont is due to >- retire next month and councillors agreed to invite , him to address their next meeting and join them for lunch. ; Mr Beaumont has been l0-" ; associated closely with the '' Lake Taupo reserves scheme since its inception, and has represented the Minister of Works in many town planning hearings in Taupo. - '
