No set meetings
The newly-established regional development committee will not be holding regular meetings. The Taupo County Council town planning officer, Mr Peter Crawford, said no dates had been set aside for meetings. "Meetings will really depend on the topics to be
discussed or if problems arise which need attention," he said. The committee, which was established earlier this month after a meeting of selected people in the community, is to be concerned with the social and economic development of the Taupo area.
