Car still missing

The Taupo police are still seeking information about a car which was taken from outside the Wairakei Hotel on the night of December 29. No sign of the car has been reported since its theft and the support of the public to report any sightings has been requested. It is a 1961 PAX Vauxhall, registration number BV 4587, painted dark blue. There is a foot-wide white line painted on each side of the car and a wing mirror mounted on each front mudguard. A radio aerial was on the right front mudguard when it was reported stolen.
