Kiwi grants
Grants totalling $78,993 from Golden Kiwi profits have been announced by Dr R. G. McElroy, chairman of the Welfare of Aged Persons Distribution Committee. Immediate grants to Welfare Councils, Old Folk's Associations and clubs. to assist in the welfare of old people, furnishing of club rooms, and for general purposes, amount to $44,493.
