The new lido pool at the A.C. Baths should be in use again later this week. Sealing and painting has been completed and water started to flow into the superb facility at the weekend. A feature of the colour scheme is the swimming lanes in the pool proper. They are painted
bold black and conclude at each end with what could almost be described as cemetery crosses (picture). Bumper holiday crowds are anticipated at the baths and the new pool, opened briefly six weeks ago, will be an attractive focal point.
