Appeal board sitting here.

The Town and Country Planning Appeal Board has been sitting in Taupo yester-

day and today. Yesterday evidence in a case brought by T. A. Heath Ltd against a Taupo Borough Council decision was heard, and today the board has been hearing evidence in an appeal by E. D. Shearman and Others against a Taupo Borough Council decision. The board is headed by its deputy chairman, Mr K. O. Stephens, and with him are Messrs H. D. Lambie and G. F. Hogg. In yesterday s appeal, Mr N. T. Gillespie, O.B.E., Lower Hutt, represented the appellant company while the Taupo Borough Council was represented by Mr J. WittenHannah.
