Building Permits
Thirty-four building permits were issued during July for Taupo borough to a total value of £74,450. Ten were for dwellings. One permit was for a shop and offices in Ruapehu Street, valued at £14,950, and another for a six-unit motel in Tauhara Road valued at £10,995. Since April 1, 86 permits have been issued for buildings worth £190,936. For the same period last year, the figures were 113 and £177,567.
