Twin Carriageway?
Plans submitted by the borough engineer for the development of Rifle Range Road have been adopted by Taupo Borough Council. The part of the road involved is from Lake Terrace to near Pihanga Street and approval of the design was necessary to enable stormwater works to proceed this year. The proposals will ailow for two carriageways, each 36ft. wide, a centre island 20ft wide and berms on each side of the road, also 20ft. wide.
