A plan showing the site finally selected for the pro-' posed hospital in Kotare Street was submitted to Taupo Borough Council by the Waikato Hospital Board and was approved. The council also approved in principle plans drawn up by council officers for the improvement of the approaches to the site by extensions in Kotare, Puriri and Sunset Streets. Owners of land in the area will be approached to see whether they would approve the plan.
