COLLEGE PARENTS' OFFICERS
The following officers of the Taupo-nui-a-Tia College Parents' Association have been elected: — Permanent vice-president, Mr F. N. Tritt; vice-presi-dents, Mrs M. Rameka, Messrs I. Hodgson, A. Lindup; chairman, Mr J. Adams; staff representative, Mr T. Watts; secretary-treasurer, Mrs J. Sutherland; committee, Messrs D. Bartlett, J. Adams, P. Harrop, I. Hodgson, A. Lindup, R. MacDonell, P. O'Shaunessey, E. Pardon. H. Righton, Mesdames N. Dean, N. Logan, M. James, M. Philpott, R. Pitiroi, M. Rameka. The committee will meet about six times annually and will work closely with the College Board of Governors. It will be one of the duties of the committee to hold one major money-making project during its term of office. At the meeting members thought there should be occasions for informal meetings' between parents and, with this in mind, it promised full co-operation with the Waipahihi delegates, who hope to hold a hangi and concert in the warmer weather of the last school term.
