VANDALS AT PARK

Evidence of vandals was seen at Taupo Jaycee park by the publicity officer, Mr B. Hodson, when he made a recent tour of the area. As a result of this discovery, the thermal park committee will meet at the park to discuss what restoration work will be necessary. It is Mr Hodson's opinion that sign posts will need to be cemented in place, wires on the railings will have to be braced, and other action taken to reduce the possibility of damage by vandals.
