IT PAYS TO ADVERTISE!
Highlight of the week in the Taupo Times' advertising department was the news that Mr B. J. Baumberg had sold 300 tickets to the Hawke's Bay-Springbok Rugby match yesterday morning inside of 30 minutes — all the result of one small advertisement in the Taupo Times. Mr Baumberg said the tickets were sold in two's and three's and cost 17/6 each.
