Silver Chalice To Be Presented

At the annual meeting of parishioners in St. Andrew's Hall on. Sunday afternoon at 2.30 p.m., a solid silver chalice and paten will be handed over to the church. A few months ago parishioners were asked for old silver, ornaments and jewellery to be melted down and recast into the chalice and paten. The casting and graving was carried out by an Auckland firm. The gift will be dedicated by Bishop W. J, Simkin at a service following the meeting.
