CONTEST
Taupo Jaycee will hold its annual speech contest at the Taupo-nui-a-Tia College on Monday. Four senior boys, four senior girls, four junior boys and four junior girls have been chosen as semi-finalists for the competition. They were judged by the English department of the college. The finals will be decided by judges outside the college. Prizes, to the value of about £15, will be donated to the winners by Jaycee and the Jaycee Cup will be awarded to the best senior speaker. All parents, friends and students are welcome to attend the speech night.
