Maintenance Work

There is little patronage of the Taupo Municipal Camp at this time of the year and the caretaker, Mr R. J. Daly, is spending most of his time doing painting and general maintenance work. Reporting this to a meeting of the Taupo Borough Council, Mr Daly said he will soon plant trees in the cabin area of the camp to deflne it from the tent sites. Receipts issued by the camp for June amounted to £113/19/-. This was for cabins, camp sites and power.
