New Arrival
TURANGI.
(OC)
One of the recent arrivals in Turangi is Mr Lawrence ("Laurie") Neary who has taken over the management of the Turangi Motor and Engineering Company for the Harvey Cooper Group. He could be described as a "trouble-shooter" for the company he represents in that he is the man moving into areas where the company has not before been represented and is expected to set up the well-known "white glove" service Harvey Cooper offers in other parts of New Zealand. He has reeently spent some months in Tauranga on a similar assignment. Mr
Neary has come to Turangi accompanied by his family, It seems he likes the spot so much he would prefer this stay to be permanent. Possibly after seven years with Harvey Coopers, he feels he should grow roots. The improvements he has already made in Turangi show the right spirit of service for the public and residents look forward to a long stay for him in the distriet.
